Julnar Rizk is a certified coach specializing in supporting clients to successfully manage and empower change and transition in their personal and professional lives. She also works as a consultant in the field of Diversity & Inclusion, helping companies teach their employees to successfully work and communicate across lines of difference particularly in the midst of organizational change.

In February of 2007, Julnar discovered her own proverbial “Road to Damascus” one month after a cerebral hemorrhage had caused a 50% vision loss, and cross vision complications occurred after corrective brain surgery. From this journey, Empowering the Internal Voice was born, and Julnar gained first-hand experience of how to successfully navigate immense change and lead one’s life by highest choices.

Julnar received her certification through the Coaches Training Institute in 2005 and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. She is a graduate of the CTI Co-Active Leadership Program, and she has trained in the study of Sacred Contracts and Archetypes with the Caroline Myss Education Institute.

Before becoming a coach, Julnar worked as a residency-trained orthopedic and spine physical therapist, and performed and recorded as a professional violin and fiddle player. She received an MA in physical therapy, BA degrees in chemistry and in history, and is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, Class of 1984.
